Loot from Week 20/2010 - CE Mania
If you like Collectors Editions, you are gonna love this loot post. Three new games and all of them are special editions, so lots of pics \o/
Week 20 loot is:
Alan Wake Limited Collector’s Edition - This is a really sweet CE. When removing the outer cover, the box looks like a book and inside is not only the game with a special cover and some extra DLC. But also included is the soundtrack, a bonus DVD with Exclusive In-Game Audio Commentary, extra stuff for your Xbox Avatar and a theme. Also included is The Alan Wake Files” – a 144pg book that includes a short story written by Alan Wake and compiles the FBI dossiers investigating the events in Bright Falls, WA.
A very sweet CE and also it’s fairly priced, so if you are thinking of getting a CE of this great game, go get it know, before it’s gone.
Red Dead Redemption Limited Edition - When I first head of RDR, I wasn’t impressed, as western games rarely are worth spending time on. But when I found out it’s an open world game, made by Rockstar San Diego together with Rockstar North, you know the team behind Lemmings!! … and Grand Theft Auto, I was immediately psyched.
I got the Limited Edition of this one off course and beside a nice “slip over” cover, it includes four extra DLC for the game. I went for the PS3 version, because I mainly game on PS3, but also because the PS3 version has some exclusive content and that ranks higher then better looking shadows in my book.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Collectors Edition - I loved the latest Prince of Persia game, so has been looking forward to this one, which hopefully isn’t just a cheap version, created to earn some easy buck from the release of the cinematic Prince of Persia movie. The CE comes in a nice steelbook box, which beside the game also includes a bonus DVD with soundtrack, screensavers, wallpapers, trailers and much more. Also included is DLC for some skins and a voucher for Prince of Persia Classics, which can be downloaded from the PSN shop.
Now my biggest problem (beside getting well after a week of being sick) is what game to play first. I’m thinking Alan Wake when it’s still day and RDR in the night :)
And now pics!
